Privacy & Accessibility

Your privacy, plainly.

What this site collects, what it never does, and how to reach us. Effective October 4, 2026.

Privacy Policy

The short version

LarisaTroche.com is run by The Larisa Group (Larisa Troche), based in California. We collect only what you hand us on purpose: an email address when you join In the LOOP with Larisa or download a free resource, and whatever you type into an inquiry or order form. We do not run advertising trackers, we do not sell or share your personal information, and we honor the Global Privacy Control signal.

What we collect, and why

  • In the LOOP with Larisa, and free downloads. Your email address and, if you give it, your name. Used to send you the newsletter and the download you asked for. Stored in the site’s own subscriber list and with Brevo, the email service that sends the newsletter on our behalf.
  • Speaking inquiries and book orders. The details you enter (name, email, phone, organization, message, shipping address). Used only to answer you or fulfill your order. Stored securely with the site and emailed to Larisa.
  • Book payments. When you buy a book, payment is handled by Stripe on Stripe’s own secure checkout page. Your card details go to Stripe, never to this website, and we do not see or store them. We receive your name, shipping address and what you ordered so the book can be sent.
  • The chat assistant. If you use the chat window, what you type is sent to an AI model (Claude, made by Anthropic) so it can answer questions about Larisa’s work. The chat is run for us by Blackout Digital Solutions and reaches Anthropic through Netlify. This site does not keep a transcript of your conversation. If you choose to share your name or contact details in the chat, those are saved and emailed to Larisa so she can follow up.
  • The podcast player. Episodes play on this site, but the audio itself is streamed from Spotify for Creators (Anchor), which hosts the show. Pressing play sends your browser to their servers, as it would in any podcast app.
  • Technical logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, kept briefly for security and to keep the site running. We do not use them to profile you.

What we don’t do

  • No advertising pixels, no ad networks, no cross-site tracking.
  • No sale of personal information, and no sharing it for targeted advertising. Not now, and if that ever changed this page would say so first and a “Do Not Sell or Share” link would appear here.
  • No tracking cookies and nothing stored in your browser. The only cookie this site sets is a sign-in cookie for the people who manage it.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honor that preference. Because this site does not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, there is nothing further you need to set.

Services this site relies on

We use the following third-party services to operate the site: Cloudflare (hosting, and the invisible check that keeps spam off our forms — see Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum), Brevo (email newsletter), Resend (email such as your welcome message), Google Fonts (typefaces are loaded from Google’s servers), Stripe (book payments), Spotify for Creators (podcast audio), and Blackout Digital Solutions with Netlify and Anthropic (site management and the chat assistant). Links to Eventbrite, Amazon, Spotify, YouTube, LinkedIn and the Make It, Mind It, Multiply It community take you to those companies’ sites, which have their own privacy policies.

Your choices and rights

  • Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately.
  • You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email Larisa@LarisaTroche.com and we aim to respond within 45 days. We will never treat you differently for asking.
  • This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be announced in In the LOOP with Larisa.

Accessibility Statement

Built to be used by everyone.

We want every visitor to be able to read, navigate and use this site, whatever tools they use to do it. LarisaTroche.com has been designed and tested with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our accessibility benchmark. We are committed to providing an accessible online experience and to addressing accessibility barriers when we learn of them.

Accessibility features include:

  • Keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators and a “Skip to content” link.
  • Color contrast, alternative text for meaningful images, and headings and landmarks structured to support assistive technologies.
  • Animation that respects your device’s reduced-motion setting.
  • Podcast controls designed for keyboard operation and assistive technologies.

We also work to make downloadable resources and other content on the site accessible, and we welcome reports of any accessibility barriers in those materials.

The site is tested against WCAG 2.1 AA with automated tools and keyboard and screen-reader checks, most recently on October 4, 2026. If you hit a barrier anywhere on this site, please tell us: email Larisa@LarisaTroche.com with the page and what went wrong, and we will fix it or provide the content another way.
